Over 1,100 proposals from 114 organisations and 47 countries have been received to date for the 20th Society of Petroleum Engineers Middle East Oil & Gas Show and Conference (MEOS 2017). Paper submissions are being accepted online until an extended deadline of 22 May 2016.
“We are confident that MEOS 2017 will provide delegates with a unique opportunity to share work and experience, as well as an open opportunity to build strong networks and ties. The Programme Committee invites oil & gas professionals to submit papers on topics in areas of expertise with a focus on the conference theme Transforming the Industry Through Innovation and Operational Excellence,” said Michael Bittar, 2017 MEOS conference programme co-chairman and Senior Director at Halliburton.
A large number of categories and topics on exploration and appraisal, reservoir development, drilling and completions, production and facilities, human resources, HSSE, new technologies and innovations have been selected to choose from.
The conference programme at MEOS 2017 will feature 300+ papers divided across 42 technical sessions, a high level ministerial session, executive plenary session, daily panel discussions, training courses and a programme of events aimed at students and young professionals.
